The Campari Negroni Sbagliato, or ‘mistaken Negroni,’ dates back to 1972 at Bar Basso in Milan, when Mirko Stocchetto created this take on the campariusa classic Negroni by accident.
When asked to make a Negroni, Stocchetto accidentally grabbed prosecco instead of gin, and thus the "classic” Bar Basso Sbagliato recipe with Campari was born.
