Our bookcases are mostly functional; we have plenty of books and we chose not to hide them😂 I know bookcases can be styled, but this is the best we could do with this many books, without buying another bookcase. Here, two shelves hold personal memories like books from our travels or small souvenirs. The last shelf was for the kids, but it was messy, so I moved it up. The children’s books were too low and some were too tall for the shelf. The middle shelf offers better visibility and easier access for as I now can place the books vertically; and it’s also larger. It’s been a week and the mess is still gone.
