The Kremlin stated Tuesday it has "no hope" for improved relations with the UK under new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, criticizing his support for Ukraine.
With bilateral ties already at historic lows over ongoing disputes and London's backing of Kyiv, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed Burnham's statements indicate an intention to continue the war.
Burnham, the former mayor of Manchester who succeeded Keir Starmer, spoke with Volodymyr Zelensky on his first day in office, pledging "no change" in London's policy and promising 100 percent support.
