Kevin Keegan, one of the biggest names in English football history, has died at the age of 75. He had been diagnosed with cancer. ⁣ ⁣ Small in stature but hugely enthusiastic and determined to win, Keegan enjoyed great success as a player with Liverpool before making a then-rare move into continental football with German side Hamburg. While there he was twice named European Footballer of the Year. He also made 63 appearances for England, 31 as captain. ⁣ ⁣ Moving into management with Newcastle United, he became widely renowned for encouraging an attractive attacking style.
