The village of Sinjil in the West Bank has been cut off from surrounding towns and villages by Israeli forces, who have installed gates and dumped mounds of earth to prevent travel.⁣ ⁣ Residents have complained of not being able to access their nearest city Ramallah, and how the actions are impacting daily life as well as health and safety operations. ⁣ ⁣ A teacher from the area said there is "a real suffering indeed. We are in a prison... Yesterday the ambulance was unable to evacuate a (sick) case." ⁣ ⁣ The Israeli military has a long history of restricting movement between West Bank towns on a daily, and often hourly, basis.
