The study found those who ate avocados daily for six months saw a reduction in LDL particles— think bad cholesterol. That’s thanks to Unsaturated fats, fiber and other properties in avocado. The recent cyclospora concerns—think explosive diarrhea—may have been bad for some lettuce and berry businesses. But it’s been a boost for small farm and produce stands—think farmers markets.
