Blue Angels leadership is reviewing a low flyover during a Wednesday morning event in Pensacola, Florida, after the dramatic pass sent sand, tents and chairs flying near spectators.
The flyover happened during the annual "Breakfast with the Blues" event. Witnesses said the jets flew unusually close to the crowd, with some calling it an unforgettable thrill.
Even so, Blue Angels officials say they're conducting a safety review to ensure the pilots followed all U.S. Navy and FAA safety standards.
