Search and rescue efforts are underway for three people who disappeared after a boat sank near Alcatraz. One person and a dog died. There were 20 people on board when the boat began to take on water. Of those, 16 were rescued-- including three who were taken to the hospital. Despite initial reports, police say there was no evidence of a fire and determined what people thought was smoke was actually steam. Adding that those injured were likely hurt when they fell into the water.
