7/12/26 marked a very special day in my life - the day I publicly declared my faith through baptism! Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation, a way to share with the world what Christ has already done in my heart. I grew up Catholic. I knew of God, but I didn’t know what it meant to truly have a relationship with Jesus. For years, anxiety, fear, doubt, and worry consumed my mind. Over the last few years, that struggle only grew. Even when I wasn’t seeking God, He never stopped pursuing me. A friend reminded me that He has been waiting with open arms for me to come back to Him. I spent so much time trying to control my future, chasing opportunities and worrying if I was on the right path. That is a burden I was never meant to carry. Jesus already has a plan for my life, and true peace came when I stopped trying to control every outcome and started trusting Him instead.
