Blacked out, lying in the road, with half of my body fractured. People often ask if it changed my life. The truth is, it did. But probably not in the way they’d expect. Growing up, my dad always told me, “The difference between adventure and adversity is your attitude.” At the time, I didn’t fully understand what he meant.
