We often treat a sick day as a drift from our purpose. An interruption to the mission. A barrier to the work we "should" be doing. But what if the interruption is the mission? Caring for the ill in our own homes is a sacred stewardship. It is the ministry of the tea mug and the thermometer. It is the holy work of slowing down when the world demands we keep up. In the quiet of a darkened room, we find a chance to mirror the Heart of God. Presence over productivity. Compassion over convenience. When we serve the "least of these" under our own roof, we are serving Him. "I was sick and you visited me." : Matthew 25:36 True faithfulness isn't always found in the big moments. It’s found in the intentionality of a quiet afternoon spent at a bedside. Don't resent the slowing down. Embrace the ministry of presence. How has a season of slowing down changed your perspective on serving others? #GoodNewsFeed #FaithInAction #MinistryOfPresence #ChristianLiving
