We teach our children to say thank you. But do we teach them how to cry? Lament is the forgotten language of faith. It's the honest prayer that says, "This hurts, God. Where are You in this?" We think protecting our families from pain is faithfulness. But teaching them how to bring their pain to God : that's the real legacy. A home that laments is a home that knows God is big enough for our hardest questions. For the tears at the dinner table. For the grief we carry to bed. Lament isn't the end of faith. It's faith refusing to look away. "You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?" : Psalm 56:8 Who taught you that it was okay to bring your hurts to God? #GoodNewsFeed #Lament #Faith #Family
