As a person who plays tennis for almost 3 years and still learning there are some things I would do differently to be able to speed up learning process. ๐Ÿ“ 1. Practice at least twice a week. There was some period of time when I was playing once a week but it felt more like supporting current level rather than skill development. ๐Ÿ“ˆ 2. Try to get the most from your coach. Whether you train individually or in a group, do not shy away of asking questions. Different coaches have different approaches in teaching. If itโ€™s not your style, itโ€™s best for you to keep looking. ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ 3. Do not stress too much about racquet and gear. Buy a lightweight racquet. It can be even a used one. Brand doesnโ€™t really matter, but characteristics do. Buy new shoes. They donโ€™t have to be expensive, just shoes for tennis and a surface you play the most. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ 4.
