Why I love Classic Armani Suits ___________________________ The drapery and textures, the simplicity and class, carrying such a sophisticated swagger and presence. No wonder why Armani suits of the 80’s and 90’s became such a cultural staple in menswear and to this day dominates the vintage market. With ‘baggy’ or ‘loose’ clothing being more of a staple now as opposed to a trend, it’s imperative that men have suits which embody this full and leisurely type of look and atmosphere. I love the look mainly for the attitude it gives the wearer. An ‘old money’ aesthetic of a time where the power was wielded in the hands of the sharply dressed. I literally wouldn’t mind dressing like the man character of the 1980 film, American Gigolo every day. Maybe a goal for the future.
