visual postcard 🇨🇴 I ushered in my 30th birthday with a trip to Colombia. I wanted to enter the new decade with a renewed focus on what life means to me and how I want to spend my time here on Earth experiencing it. Leisure simply means, “free time” and I had a lot of it. What I did with my free time allowed me the awareness to connect with others and create what I felt inspired and compelled to do during my time there. As an artist, I was touched by the literary work of Gabriel García Márquez and by taking a trip to Comuna 13. Creating a life where I am taking time to go to a place rich with culture different than my own culture/upbringing is something I pride myself with.
