This conversation isn’t just about antisemitism, although that’s an important warning sign we should never ignore. It’s about something even bigger: the growing influence of violent extremism and what it does to our democracy, our institutions, and our ability to solve problems together. Too often, we get caught up in partisan politics and stop asking the most important question: Is this leader trying to solve problems, or are they profiting from division? That’s the question Builders should always ask. I don’t care whether extremism comes from the far left, the far right, or any other ideology. When people glorify violence, excuse terrorism, or dehumanize those they disagree with, they aren’t building a better future; they’re tearing it apart.
