I don’t hide anything from my sons. Not even history. With the current state of the world I find it imperative to be as open and honest as I can be with all 4 of my sons regardless of age. Because of technology, information is readily available to everyone. As a father raising Kings I find it super important that they understand exactly who they are and where they stand on this land. A land our family is native to. Jackson was 12 in this clip as we traveled across the country to learn American history. I choose not to hide the dark parts with hopes that it empowers all of them to stand firm in who they are and what their ancestors have battled through.
