"The students attended an inspiring talk by Craig Masback, our Sports Business teacher, the second person in history to have broken the 4-minute mile. This feat was accomplished on the very same track that Roger Bannister shattered the legendary 4-minute barrier on, 24 years prior, in the city of dreaming spires. 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ The introductory talk was followed by the screening of a documentary recounting Bannister’s life and accomplishments. This evening exhibited how the life of one person can be instrumental in discovering and pushing the boundaries of human capabilities, and how breaking records has the power to bring people together through adverse historical events."
