Ask Sylvie, one of our programmers, what stands out about China, and she points to the range of experiences across the program.
Students spend time at the Danba Forest School, living in a restored Tibetan home and learning from the local environment and community. In Chengdu, they connect with local students during an exchange day filled with street food, tea culture, and shared meals. Outside Beijing, they stay with host families, experiencing daily life while exploring nearby towns, terraced fields, and historic temples.
Throughout the program, students build their Mandarin through conversation, cultural immersion, and meaningful connection.
