"At the Biel/Bienne campus of Bern University of Applied Sciences, we met Dr. Gabriel Gruener, who gave us a presentation on the history of robotics. This ranged from Aristotle’s ideas about what robots should be, to the 1700s-born Pierre Jaquet-Droz’s creation of automata dolls capable of drawing. These dolls still work to this day!"
