An entry from our Service Morocco program during their High Atlas Mountain trek: "Our trek was scenic and rewarding. At the beginning of the day we started at around 4,000 feet above sea level and ended at 6,000! We stopped for lunch underneath a large oak tree. Our team of mules, mule guides, and cooks got to the tree before us, and set up rugs underneath the shade, served us tea, and made delicious cool salads for us all. We got back on the road for another hour, and finally made it to our campsite, hiking around 11 miles in total. When we got to the site, our team had set up all the tents for us! There was one big communal tent with a large rug and mattresses, a kitchen tent, and multiple sleeping tents.
