Happy Easter from Slovenia 🇸🇮 Grad Žovnek is one of the oldest castles in Slovenia and was built before 1139. A scion of the oldest vine in the world was planted here by winemaker Milan Šoštarič. I hiked up to it just after sunrise and did some yoga on a bench after some exploring…..I had the forest and the castle to myself. Unfortunately there was no wine and there was no one home when I tried the door. Rapunzel and hair pulling will have to wait.
