I really enjoyed how small I felt watching the clouds billow in the distance and blue the water looked. I've been grieving someone I really like recently, not a death kind of grief, but a missed connection kind of grief. It's a strange thing continuing to hold onto that hope, in a way that feels a bit humiliating because everything and everyone is telling you to move on, but my heart aches thinking about the memories we shared. As I'm here, writing this, hurt that I've noticed you slowly distancing yourself, I'm also slowly understanding how to move on and still hold onto that hope.
