During our 156th Commencement Exercises, an early portion of the ceremony was dedicated to special graduation honors, including: The Midshipman First Class Jeffrey R. Korn Memorial Award, which was presented to Matthew Carver ’26 of Williamsville. The award was established in 1983 by the members of the Korn family and their friends, and it is presented annually to a graduating senior who best exemplifies the characteristics which Jeffrey Korn represented: outstanding moral character, leadership, and sportsmanship. The winner is chosen by a vote of the administration, faculty and staff. Throughout the coming weeks, we will continue to look back at this most special day for CHS and the Class of 2026.
