The Running of the Crusaders! Four CHS alumni participated in the Running of the Bulls on Sunday in Pamplona, Spain. Will Knauss ’21, Noah Rockensuess ’21, Ethan Beck ’21 and Zach Taylor ’21 (left to right) successfully evaded the bulls during the famed event of the San Fermin Festival, part of the group’s nine-day trip to Spain. The four Class of 2021 alumni – all who ran for CHS Cross Country – evaded the six fighting bulls and accompanying six steers during a charge through a narrow, half-mile course along cobblestone streets that lasts two to three minutes. The Running of the Bulls occurs on eight consecutive mornings (July 7-14) during the annual festival, which dates back to the 16th century.
