Our coaching and performance staff for the 2026-27 season is confirmed. 🦁 Head Coach Tautvydas Sabonis returns with a strengthened backroom team as the Lions prepare to compete in Super League Basketball and the BKT EuroCup. Joining the men's programme are Matt Pitkin and Daniel James, two of Britain's fastest-rising coaches. Pitkin returns to London after spells with Manchester Basketball and the Great Britain national team setup, having previously helped lead the Lions women's side to a historic European campaign and an unbeaten domestic treble. He now returns following appointments as Great Britain U18 Head Coach and assistant coach with the senior Great Britain team. James also returns to the Lions for a second stint after spending last season in China with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, bringing further international experience and British coaching expertise to Sabonis' staff.
