If you had told me a year ago that I’d be competing in a pageant, I probably would’ve laughed. As a racecar driver, this was about as far outside my comfort zone as I could get—and that’s exactly why I did it. This weekend reminded me that growth comes from trying new things, embracing the unknown, and surrounding yourself with incredible people.
