Residents were forced to evacuate after a construction crew struck a natural gas line near an apartment building in Dallas. Dallas Fire-Rescue says the building was evacuated out of an abundance of caution while Hazmat crews and Atmos Energy worked to secure the leak. One resident says she thought it was a routine fire drill before learning what had happened. Firefighters say no gas was detected inside the building, and Atmos crews remain on scene making repairs.
