Turning my peaches into a peach cobbler! This is one of my favorite peach desserts during summerš¤
Ingredients
batter:
* 1½ cups all-purpose flour
* 2 tsp baking powder
* ¾ cup granulated sugar
* ¼ tsp salt
* ½ tsp ground cinnamon
* 1¼ cups milk
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
peach filling:
* 5 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
* Juice of ½ lemon
* ¼ cup granulated sugar
* ¼ cup brown sugar
* ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground nutmeg
* 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Place the stick of butter into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet (or similar-sized baking dish) and place it in the oven until completely melted.
3. Meanwhile, add the sliced peaches to a bowl with the lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated. Set aside.
