The 38th Sustainment Brigade provides command and control for all units and provides sustainment in areas of operations while planning and executing theater opening, distribution, sustainment, reception, staging and onward movement of Army forces. The 38th Sustainment Brigade also alerts, assembles and conducts support operations to civil authorities for homeland defense and/or disaster relief. Heavily inspired from the 38th Sustainment patch, the strong colors signify the unit's mission to consistently sustain the fight on every front. The motto, "Avengers - Never Quit", is an ode to the 38th Sustainment's lineage in the 38th Infantry Division.
