Yesterday, we said goodbye to approximately 50 Indiana Guardsmen who will support Operation Lone Star. The Hoosier Guardsmen will head for southern Texas in support of Operation Lone Star, and they will assist the Texas National Guard and the Texas Department of Public Safety in protecting the border and nation. Maj. Gen. Dale Lyles, Indiana's adjutant general, and Gov. Eric Holcomb spoke at the departure and wished our soldiers and airmen well.
