Meet Arianna Montoya-Garcia, Large Mammal Float Animal Care Specialist here at DZCA and a keeper whose tattoos are a tribute to the animals who shaped her career. 🦏🐘 Arianna has been a zookeeper since 2020 and is one of our newest team members, joining DZCA just this past April. And while she may be new to Denver, the animals inked on her skin have been with her every step of the way. Her tattoos feature two very special animals: 🐘 Sanjay, an Asian elephant at Cincinnati Zoo who taught Arianna that trust between a keeper and an animal can accomplish anything.
