I’ve helped out at activities including dessert-making, hockey skating and water sports, and it’s been a real joy to see the kids have so much fun with every activity. Something that really stands out for me is that [So Kids SOAR] kids get a chance to build confidence and realize they can succeed with something that maybe they haven’t tried before. By the end of the day they’re confident and smiling, and you’d never know they were nervous when they started. SKS has such a great community of kids, parents, staff and volunteers, it’s been a lot of fun and I have had a blast teaching participants #adaptive kayaking for the past two water sports clinics!”
