PASSED ✅ Greenwood County Council approved the third and final reading of one-year data center moratorium Tuesday night. During the meeting Council Chairman Theo Lane used chairman's privilege to move the vote to the top of the meeting. He said 24 people signed up to share feedback during the public comment period. The moratorium passed in a 4-to-3 vote. County council was met with a wave of applause from residents who attended the meeting.
