Would you let an AI agent negotiate your salary? 47% of Americans said yes. Ruth AI just released The Trust Gap, a national study with The Harris Poll. We surveyed 2,131 Americans about how they use and trust AI in their careers. 74% of men ages 18 to 45 have used AI for career advice. Only 56% of women ages 18 to 45 have. Nearly half of Americans would hand AI the conversation that sets their pay for years. And 76% had never heard that independent research has found AI can provide biased career and salary advice, including advising women to ask for less.
