Atlanta has a Porsche history that runs deeper than most people know. Road Atlanta sits just outside the city, and Petit Le Mans has run there for decades, one of IMSA’s toughest tests. One of the track’s original owners were the Whittington brothers, Florida racers with more money than most factory teams. In 1979 they took a Kremer Porsche 935 to Le Mans and won outright, the first rear-engine car ever to do it. That same 935 might be more than a poster at Luft 12. Tickets live in 6 days.
