⚽️ A GLIMPSE OF WHAT’S AHEAD. Roosevelt High School’s girls soccer team captured the COMPETITIVE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP at the Rising Stars Showcase on Sunday at Green High School. It was a true team effort from start to finish. The Rough Riders battled back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Louisville 4-2, with seven rising eighth graders contributing to the championship run alongside the high school players. Maggie Pazderak powered the offense with a hat trick. The storybook finish belonged to rising senior Evie Harris, whose goal capped the 4-2 comeback. It was her first goal since suffering an ACL injury a year ago against the same Louisville team.
