Thursday we celebrated Three Kings Day! It was their biggest celebration post-covid as all 140+ kids were invited. We helped set up in the morning and volunteered throughout the afternoon. It was a day full of smiles and love as each kid got their own present from Small Hands, Big Hearts, another non-profit located in NC. Santa even showed up to deliver their gifts. Although it was a long day, it was also our last day with the kids. I wish we were able to stay longer! They taught me to be thankful and grateful for all we have in the US. They also taught me how a little love can go a long way.
