There’s something special about March. Our FDU Women’s Basketball team represented our university on the national stage in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. Going toe-to-toe with powerhouse Iowa, they showed toughness, belief, and the kind of resilience that defines championship culture. It was a sold out Carver-Hawkeye Arena, with 14,332 Iowa fans, the Knights weren't fazed and pushed the home team to the brink of an upset on ESPN. As one Iowa season ticket holder wrote to Coach Gaitley following the game, "Your team played with so much heart, confidence and swagger that it really impressed the heck out of me. I can tell that the Ladies are very well coached and know their position on the court and how to work as a team. Being a Hawkeye fan we are really crazy about team ball and your team is all that and more." We couldn't have said it better. #MarchMadness #FDUKnights #WomensBasketball #NCAATournament
