This might be an unpopular opinion... but I’m not the only one responsible for dinner around here. One of the greatest gifts we can give our kids is teaching them that a home runs because everyone helps—not because Mom does everything. So if one of my kids asks, “What’s for dinner?” there’s a good chance my answer is... “What do you think we should make? I’ll help.” Because someday they’ll have homes and families of their own, and I want them to know how to contribute, not just consume.
