🚀 That's a wrap on our two-week AWT AeroMFG STEM Camp! ✈️🌙 What an incredible two weeks of hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration! Our campers discovered the science of manufacturing and worked together through exciting projects and real-world experiences. Throughout camp, students: 🔹 Built a motorized thaumatrope 🔹 Created galaxy oobleck and their own constellations 🔹 Made moon rocks and designed lunar landers 🔹 Learned blueprint reading while building LEGO spaceships 🔹 Designed rockets for sphero robot races 🔹 Tested the science of flight with paper helicopters 🔹 Used edible ingredients for chocolate welding and gumdrop bridges Students also had the opportunity to see aerospace manufacturing in action through tours of componentrepair and nacl_ind, while professionals from bwxtechnologies and lubrizol visited camp to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of innovators.
