Meet Coach Kacee! Kind Kacee, as her GOTR girls know her, has been coaching at Carson Elementary for 3 seasons. Kacee stumbled upon Girls on the Run while looking for organizations to get involved with in the Denver area and hasn’t looked back since. She even takes some GOTR lessons home with her and uses them herself, such as our "Stop and Take a BrThRR" lesson – pausing, taking deep breaths, and thinking before responding. Coach Kacee's favorite coaching moment was when she had the opportunity to run alongside one of her girls as a running buddy at last spring’s 5K. She was so proud of how well she did (she finished 2nd!) and it was so much fun to see one of her girl's accomplish their goal!
