I know it’s not sushi but sometimes homestyle Japanese food will do the fix! At Dan Izakaya they are known for their “Deluxe Meshi”- a hot stone rice dish similar to the Korean counterpart, but with Japanese flavors. It has crispy rice (of course), seared salmon, ikura, and more. I had to eat mine with wasabi to give it that “sushi feel” 😂 Their steamed Manila clams are also good, but pricey at $15 for what it is.
