While you're being told to recycle more & use paper straws to save the planet, the world’s richest 0.01% are wrecking it not only through their lavish lifestyles but also their ownership-based emissions.⁣ ⁣ A new Greenpeace Africa report found that the world’s richest 0.01% are associated with about US$992 billion worth of climate damage in 2022 alone through ownership-based emissions.
