We found a second blind horse in the same kill pen as Freckles. The two of them had already bonded, found each other in the dark, and we could not leave her behind. So now we have two blind horses coming home together, already knowing they’re not alone. We also brought home a brand new baby donkey and his mama, safe and together. And a four month old Shetland filly who had been ripped away from her mother at the auction, just a baby, sold without her. Two blind horses. A donkey mama and her baby. One filly who needed her mama back, even if it can’t be the one she lost. Five lives. All of them safe tonight because you showed up.
