"TVET changed my life." For Mohamed, technical and vocational education meant being able to pay his rent and support his family. For Fatmata, it meant turning cassava into a thriving business. Across Sierra Leone, young people are gaining practical skills that open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and new opportunities. Through UNESCO's Better Education for Africa's Rise (BEAR III) project, young people are acquiring skills that respond to labour market needs, helping them build livelihoods while contributing to stronger local economies and more resilient communities. Watch Episode 1: Skills That Build | Sierra Leone, and discover how stronger TVET is helping transform lives and communities. The BEAR III project is implemented by UNESCO with the support of the Republic of Korea. unesco.org/en/articles/skills-move-us-how-technical-training-jumpstarts-young-peoples-lives #SkillsMoveUs #TVET #Education #ForThePeople
