North Carolina A&T University ncatsuaggies just opened its first new residence hall in nearly 20 years. 🏛️📰 Bluford Hall brings 405 beds to campus across 66 two- and four-bedroom suites and 94 traditional double rooms, plus two staff apartments. Students moving in this fall will find a gaming room, a makerspace, a multipurpose room with floor-to-ceiling windows, full kitchens on every floor and a private courtyard. High-tech laundry facilities and first-floor retail space round out the building, which sits directly across from Harrison Auditorium. ⁠ ⁠ It's the 16th residence hall on A&T's campus, and university officials are calling it one of the most ambitious housing projects in school history. The building honors Ferdinand D. Bluford, who served as A&T's third president from 1925 to 1955 and remains its longest-serving leader.
