Did you see that!? Cooper Teare & Cole Hocker of @oregontf turned the collegiate indoor record book on its head last year when they went 1-2 at the Tyson Invitational with the No. 1 (3:50.39) & No. 2 (3:50.55) all-time marks in the mile. That took 1.62 seconds off the old collegiate record of 3:52.01, set by former Oregon star @kingcheserek. Both Teare & Hocker had their fingerprints on another collegiate record – which also happened to be a world all-time best – two weeks earlier. They teamed up with Charlie Hunter & Luis Peralta to obliterate those standards in the distance medley relay. All told, four men's collegiate indoor records fell last year, which brought the average year of a curent men's collegiate indoor record being set to 2011. How many will be set in 2022?
