I’m beginning to realize that this East Coast Journey is just as much an experiment for me as it is for everyone I’m meeting. Coming to New York has forced me to slow down in a way I wasn’t expecting. I’ve been sleeping… a lot. Part of me is frustrated because I want to keep moving, to keep creating, to keep checking things off the list. But another part of me knows this pause is exactly what I needed. Every person I’ve interviewed has been asked the same question: What does it mean to live a life you love waking up to every day? What’s fascinating is how many people struggle to answer it. Some immediately tell me they’re unqualified to answer. Others pause for a long time before realizing they’ve never really asked themselves the question.
