#Roommates, #Trim is speaking on the comparisons she’s been getting to #NickiMinaj following the success of her viral track, ‘Coconut Water.’ While some listeners have pointed to similarities in her animated delivery, rapid-fire flow, and use of different voices, Trim says she doesn’t hear it. In an interview with nmemagazine the South Carolina native said,” Honestly… I don’t really get it. ‘Coconut Water’ don’t sound nothing like nobody. Not even #Beyoncé.” _________________________ Trim also addressed the backlash she received after previously calling her song ‘Pass The Tiara’ her own ‘Thriller.’ She clarified that she wasn’t comparing herself to Michael Jackson’s level of success, but rather the impact she hopes her music will have. “Every song has to have meaning.
